Monitor Everywhere App Reviews

It had been a while since I tried restarting my camera as a baby monitor. When I saw that there was an update for the Monitor Everywhere application, I thought I would give it a try! IT WORKED!!! For 2 whole days. Then went back to making the same 6 beeps in intervals of every few minutes. Not to mention at the worst possible time- after I had JUST put my baby to bed. Please dont give up on fixing these issues. I know the problem isnt my camera, but a software/app issue. I would really love to use my camera again with the corresponding app. At this time, I dont recommend this to anyone. These issues have been going on for far to long. Unless this issue is resolved, I dont suggest buying any Motorola products at all. Looking forward to an update that works long term. Just really frustrated as this was a big investment for me $$$. Thanks.

Love all the options but they never work. The night vision barely works so in the rare occasion it is working, you cant see your kid. The rest of the time it says not available. Horrible static noise unless you turn the volume off and then you cant hear your child. Dont waste your money.

Once upon a time, this app worked really well. Now it seems with every update theres little to no improvement or something new causes the app to crash. I have severely asthmatic children and I used to use this camera and app exclusively to monitor them all night. Beyond the crashes, the connectivity to my wifi has gone from excellent to crap. My home network hasnt changed, and the location of all the hardware hasnt changed either. I can only assume that it is some change to the software in the app that is degrading its ability to maintain a reliable connection. Im beginning to suspect these errors may be by design to force people to upgrade to the newest product out of frustration. Overall I have gone from being quite happy with this product and recommending it to everyone that asks about it to being very disappointed and telling people to stay away from it.

App continues to crash when using the talk function, not fixed as stated in this recent update.

This app doesnt work very well. It crashes every time you use to press to talk feature. No sound comes from this app now after using the push to talk.

Keeps turning off after 5 minutes asking if Im still using the camera... Duh, its a baby monitor!! Then half the time it does work, you cant hear anything.

This app consistently crashes or sends me in a loop of errors like network connection issues or camera is busy or unavailable. Nothing else in my house has issues connection nor is there a range issue with any other wireless device, I can only assume its the app not working once the camera is added (which is fairly seamless). Very frustrating that a basic wireless function continues to fail.

Just purchased and setup. Got on clearance. Works fine on home phone except push to talk crashes the app. Please fix. Well be trying to remote in with it tomorrow.

Every night when I climb in bed and open the app to view my baby I get the same connection issues. Its always trying to connect but never does. Im never able to view my baby. I need piece of mind and all I have is a piece of crap monitor. Please let me watch my baby again!

For a tech organization like Motorola, I would expect much higher. The feed is slow. It detects the wrong temperature. It only works a portion of the time. Disappointing.

Can I give it a zero?!? What is worse is that whenever they update or change the app all the 1 star reviews disappear. What a joke this software is, I consider myself a bit of a tech expert and know my et work in and out. Their software is garbage!!! If you are looking for software that inconsistently works or crashes all the time then look no further. Ever since they updated the firmware and Monitor Everywhere software it crashes regularly. We have solid wifi around the home. You can only seem to setup the wifi on 2G, 5G used to work but recently even that stopped working and your device must be on the same 2G network even though my router seamlessly passes through 2G and 5G device communications. I wish I had never purchased this device from Motorola! Waste of money!!!!

Purchased about a year ago! Where spot on In the beginning. Now I get nothing. I can never connect. I got a new phone. I tried updating software and still crap! Please update so I can see again. It was a great camera in the beginning. I could see at night, talk, play music to the dogs, watch them, get alerts of noise and temp. Now I got nothing. I could take a video and snap a pic of whatever I saw.

Video works and sound works but it no longer alerts me when my baby is crying. I have to leave the app open all the time at night which drains battery big time. I didnt used to have to leave the app open at night. Please fix this issue.

Since the new software update that I did on my iphone this app does not notified me when there is sound going on. I mean I can still view the app from work but I like to use this to check in on my babies (fur-babies) and when something is going on they would make noise so that will let me know to look. I even uninstalled the app and everything and still nothing. Before this problem I love the app.

Works good with motorola baby blink 1 monitor, works on my wifes iphone 5 running ios 6.3, but not yet optimized for iOS 7 that i have on my iphone 5.

Other than that interface is clumsy

The camera setup is excruciatingly painful with the camera making noises loud enough to wake your baby. Fail.
